Since the first time, Linley first heard Freddie Hubbard’s album ‘Ride Like the Wind’, he had dreamt to create something that channels and rivals that record.  It has been his ambition to record an album with large ensemble, rhythm section, woodwind and strings. 
 
It is a collection of compositions from the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Abdullah Ibrahim, Freddie Hubbard, James Taylor and Michel Legrand. It features a full string ensemble, woodwind and rhythm section.
 
The result is a masterful and truly unique listening experience with wonderful individual performances. For this project Hamilton and Cian Boylan brought together some of the biggest and brightest names in the Irish jazz scene including Nigel Clark (guitar), Ben Castle (saxophone), Dana Masters (vocals), Dave Redmond (bass) and Guy Rickerby (drums).
